On October 25, 2024, the Social Innovation Centre (SIC) in Lithuania hosted the third Multiplier Event (E3) for the Erasmus+ project "Real VR: Innovating Virtual Reality and EU Standards in the Real Estate Sector" (KA220-VET). Held in Vilnius, the event welcomed 30 enthusiastic participants eager to explore innovative approaches to vocational education and training (VET). SIC also extended the event’s reach by organizing an online dissemination session, engaging an additional 36 participants in a dynamic exchange of ideas.
A Deeper Dive into the Real VR Project
The Real VR project, funded under the Erasmus+ KA220-VET program, is an ambitious initiative to revolutionize VET in the real estate sector. By integrating EU standards with cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) technologies, the project aims to address skills gaps, enhance educational accessibility, and foster innovation. Its core objectives include:
Linking Real Estate Services (RES) and VET: Building a robust connection between industry needs and vocational training.
Developing VR-Integrated Training Platforms: Enabling learners to engage in practical, immersive scenarios that mirror real-world challenges.
Promoting EU Standards in RES: Creating standardized Open Educational Resources (OERs) to ensure quality and consistency across the sector.
Event Highlights
The In-Person Gathering in Vilnius
